Baby Hands

You know how sometimes you see pictures of a baby holding his/her mother's breast gently between his/her little hands while nursing?

Virginia never does that. Here is what her hands do while she is nursing:

pinch me

scratch me

pull my hair

grab my collar bone

go limp as she falls asleep

Sometimes, though, she does smile at me with her mouth full, which reminds me that she is grateful, even if she doesn't always have the kindest way of showing it.
