Mexican Restaurant

John and I made an impromptu stop at a Mexican restaurant for lunch yesterday since we were out and everyone was hungry. It was an eventful meal.

First, we learned that the Italian genes are truly un-dilutable. I let Virginia try some salsa. She sucked it off the chip and asked for more. John wanted to give her queso dip, but since it had jalapenos I was a little dubious. Virginia had no doubts, however, and made it clear that she wanted cheese. We let her try that, too. She didn't even flinch.

Later on in the meal Virginia got a handful of refried beans. Yeah.

And at the end of our visit our waitress brought a helium balloon for Virginia. She surely knows how to charm adults.
